Here I am in Virginia Beach, Virginia! Such a great day! I watched much of the East Coast Surfing Championships, got to hang out a bit with my couch surfing host John (thanks John!) and had sushi for dinner. All in all not such a bad day! - Unfortunately, Hurricane Irene is hot on my tail and I need to get moving North tomorrow!
Oh and if you're wondering why I'm dipping my pannier in the Atlantic Ocean, it's a tradition with cross-country motorcycle riders (or so they tell me, it's probably a big joke they're playing on me).
I can't imagine what I would have thought if someone asked me to capture them dipping something, ha!
